Nasa is going to waste millions of dollars to bomb the moon.
Not content with invading countries now they want to destroy the moon all in the name of science

This is so wrong, why not use the money to, oh I don't know.......IMPROVE THEIR FAILING HEALTH SYSTEM

I still can't believe they want to bomb something that has such meaning to many people and has done for eons.

Well something must have happened because that page no longer exists. Don't they realise how vital the moon is to the earth?? Tides for one thing.

That is horrible! They could mess up a lot of things! What is the world coming to... I heard they are experimenting in putting chemicals in the atmosphere to control the weather now, too. I think they are trying to overtake Mother Nature. It is a sad story.

That is the stupidest thing they could possible think of doing. Whats it going to help by blowing up part of the moon. I mean who wants to live on the moon? Only idiots who don't have anything better to do but screw with mother nature. I would suggest a protest of this but not sure if enough people would actually care.

Dont these people know that the moon is vital to life on Earth? We need its gravitational pull to keep our rotation right, if its gone the earth rotates slower and that is a real bad thing!

Not to mention the spiritual aspects of this situation

I totally agree. Plus if the moon gets blown up and moves futher from us we go into the sun! Its bad to mess with that kind of stuff!

I think yinz are missing the point. they aren't really 'bombing' the moon. they want to make a plume of regalith and other geo dust large enough to read the spectrum of colors to see if water exist on the moon. Of course they know that with no moon, earth as we know it will not exist. not all americans are idiots trying to destroy everything. we need to take everything we read or hear with a grain of salt. remember we have intelligence as a gift from Deity, and we all need to use to understand nature, which is what most of sciences are for...understand nature. But because some people learn about it differently then others doesn't mean their way is wrong, its different. Knowledge is power and empowering and that does not mean just the knowledge of Wicca, but the knowledge about as much as you can learn.

Finally a simple answer...we've searched for water and/or life forms on other planets Mars for example to see if they could "support" our human way of life should anything happen to this planet... what we see in the night sky as stars are other planets...the day may well come, may be not in our lifetime/s but in years to come where this beautiful planet can no longer sustain us and we need to look an the Moon & Mars for future life supporting environments...this isn't wrong, it's reality..so much damage has been inflicted on this planet because of mans greed....sooner or later Mother Earth will end up saying "OK...enough's enough...you've ravaged and raped me for centuries, you've taken everything I have to give, it's time for this to stop...this is my response.." and mankind will need to have an answer...what that answer will be, I have no idea...feel free to disagree with me, it's just my oppinion...
