Anyone have tips for making candles and how to do it? I was going to make some, but I've never done it before and preparing for it seemed like a good idea. Any help will do, Thanks!

You could always Google candle making. There are a ton of different ways to make candles and a ton of different materials you can use. If I find anything interesting or a method that I think you might be able to handle I'll post the website on here or pm you with it.
Here is one website for hand dipped candles. http://www.pioneerthinking.com/dipped.html

your welcome. I have only personally made a candle once and that was for some event that my cousins school did on pioneer day. Learned how to make the dipping candles. There are tons of ways to make them though. They are very fun to make.

I remember doing those once on a school field trip. It was so much fun, I totally forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder!

hello there Have you ever thought of using Beeswax to make candles? I make them all the time. Very lovely aroma, cheap, easy to make and uses renewable materials. I use foundation Beeswax sheets and roll. Look really nice with the honeycomb on it. I have to warn you its really addicitive!!!!
