It's a girl!! « Result #5 on Dec 16, 2009, 11:36am »
My best friend Steph just had her first child last night. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Rosalie Nancy. I haven't met her yet, I'm going later this afternoon. I can't wait to meet her!!! Steph had a bit of a difficult birth, she had to have Rosalie sucked out of her. Poor thing has stitches, is exhausted and sore but very happy. We're all very pleased and so proud of her. I even congratulated her boyfriend who I don't really like LOL But yeah I'm a very glad, very proud aunty all over again!! All I can say is that I wish all three of them the very best for the future and that there will be love all around little Rosalia her whole life. Blessed be little one.

We did! This morning around 8.20 when I was hustling our 12yo daughter out the door for school, we were serenaded by maggies...all four of them..dad on one chair the kids on the table and mum on one of the pot plants...all of their beaks were pointing skyward...it was so beautiful...and I'm very grateful that the have "adopted" us ...they're training the 2 chicks on how to behave and such... stay still, look, n listen..survive..the chicks haven't completely got their black and whit colours yet, their beaks are still unmarked (black/white) and they still have a bit of trouble balancing on the thin edge of pot plants...oh well..I guess its kinda like teaching a child to walk...little steps...
